RYC Analytics is a sole-proprietor public health consulting firm owned by Shannon Hoskins.  

Shannon has worked in public health for over 25 years. She received her Bachelor of Science from the University of California, Davis, and Master of Public Health from San Diego State University.  She worked on staff at three governmental health departments before becoming a consultant.  Her clients have included governmental public health and local nonprofit organizations.   

Shannon helps communities understand and use data to improve their health and well-being.  Her experience working in rural and politically diverse communities has taught her to communicate public health principles in ways that respect local values and priorities. 

Shannon also provides individual coaching and customizable group training to early-career epidemiologists and other public health data professionals.
