RYC Analytics is a sole-proprietor public health consulting firm owned by Shannon Hoskins.  

Shannon has more than 25 years of experience in public health, helping communities make sense of data and apply it in real-world decision-making. She earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of California, Davis, and a Master of Public Health from San Diego State University. She worked on staff at three governmental health departments before transitioning into consulting, partnering with governmental public health agencies and local nonprofit organizations.

Shannon helps communities understand and use data for planning, reporting, and community engagement to improve health and well-being. Her experience working in rural and politically diverse communities has taught her to communicate public health principles in ways that respect local values and priorities.

Shannon also provides individual coaching and customizable group training to early-career epidemiologists and other public health data professionals.
